This Chocolate Glaze is a great Topping for Cakes and Cupcakes.
Chocolate Glaze for approx. 30 Cupcakes:
1/3 cup chocolate of your choice: semi-sweet, milk, white
¼ cup water
1 tbs. butter
1 cup confectioners’ sugar (powdered sugar)
½ tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation Time: approx. 30 minutes
Directions for the Chocolate Glaze:
Melt the chocolate, butter and water in a bowl in the microwave for 1 minute. Give it a good stir to smooth it out. Stir in the sugar and vanilla.
Now you have 2 options:
1. For a smooth glaze, dip the top of the cupcake into the glaze while it’s stir runny. You can also add whatever decoration candies you want on top.
2. Set the glaze in the fridge for half an hour until it stiffens up. Then fill a piping bag with the glaze and pipe it on.
