Add pepper to taste. (A pinch should do)<\/p>\n<p>Wash the figs, remove the stems, and cut the figs in half lengthwise.<\/p>\n<p>In a non-stick pan caramelize the butter and sugar.<\/p>\n<p>As you caramelize the butter and sugar heat the oven to 338 Fahrenheit. When the butter and sugar are caramelized, place the figs cut side down into the pan. Add the red wine and the remaining 2 swigs of rosemary (whole). Make sure the figs remain cut side down.<\/p>\n<p>After 10 minutes place the figs cut side up in a casserole dish. Pour the sauce from the pan over the figs. Place a dollop of the goat cream cheese on top of each fig.
